Where alpine spirits
take a break

BEAUSiTE Zermatt has had many adventures since it was inspired by the golden age of alpinism to open its doors in 1907. It's time for a new one. We're taking our hotel to greater heights by bringing an exciting new concept to life, which is designed for alpine spirits who like walking to summits...or simply to our spa overlooking the Matterhorn.

And when we say "designed", we really mean it. Thanks to our renowned interior designer, atelier zürich, we have implemented an all-new vibrant interior with refined British cues.

So you better book before the muddy hiking shoes arrive. The renovated rooms and suites with direct views of the Matterhorn, regional culinary delights, Swiss alpine traditions and, of course, the mountains themselves, are all waiting.

Love the alps? Then join us as we launch a new Swiss golden age of alpinism with a dash of British flair!

New Rooms & Suites

Maybe today's adventure will be a climb into bed?

You don't have to climb a peak for one of the best views in Zermatt. You only need to make your way to your room. Most of our 67 rooms and suites have direct views of the Matterhorn, from the single rooms with balconies through to our spa suite with its own observation tower.

With these vistas, you'll always feel like an alpinist...although a rather pampered one surrounded by contemporary interiors, a Swiss Elite Bed, re-energising amenities, a coffee machine (for extra energy) and or tea (for the Brits).

But your room is not without its challenges. It's designed for alpine spirits after all. The greatest challenge? Trying to get out of bed.

Culinary

Dine like an alpinist even if your daily exercise is reaching for the fork

Take your tastebuds on an adventure as you explore our breakfast designed for a day on the mountains and our wood-fired dinners at our signature restaurant, The Grill. Also, don't forget to take some cheesy Instagram shots at our Fondue chalet in winter (anything cheesy is acceptable in Switzerland).

Then there are the drinks. Let's not forget about these. There's the Vinothek Divine for après-ski and the Piano Bar 1907 for après-après-ski.

On a more serious note, our culinary philosophy evokes our love for the Alps in a very real way. We focus on regionality, which means that all our yoghurts are made with Zermatt milk from a local dairy and much of our cheese and meat products come from cows that graze the fresh grass on nearby alpine farms.

Spa & Recharge

You only need to go to our new spa to elevate your spirits

Some climb "four-thousanders" to feel like they're on cloud nine, others simply visit our spa. Our new approach is designed for the alpine spirits of today who wish to recharge, reconnect with nature and re-energise their mind and body.

That's why we have created a tranquil sanctuary which is in touch with the natural surroundings and offers everything you need to recharge. From the Finnish and hay sauna, to the private hammam cabin, infrared capsule, swimming pool, gym and treatments, every experience is built to reawaken your spirit and a feeling that "nothing is impossible now".
